Albert Dai Lin Cheung was born in 1946 in Hong Kong. He grew up in a family with two brothers and a sister. He was the third child. He immigrated to Canada in the 1970s. While in Canada he found his passion of being a restauranteur - opening several high end Chinese restaurants in the Greater Vancouver area. There he met many life long friends.

His love for food always brought joy to his family and friends as they got to experience the many banquets and dinner parties he would throw. 

​

He enjoyed watching all sports but particularly playing soccer and badminton. Watching him at a sports game was a show itself! 

​

His adventurous and fun loving personality always brought such happiness to everyone around him. He would always be up for trying new things, travelling all around the world and playing a good game of big two.

​

His most accomplished role in life was being a dad and making sure his daughter was well fed. 

​

He will be dearly missed every day. May he rest in peace.
